Cloud Management Portal: Your Online Source of Cloud Service Insights

Transparity’s intelligent Cloud Management Portal (CMP) delivers insights in one convenient, online dashboard showcasing your Microsoft Azure ecosystem. The following features are available in all our tiers through the CMP (on request only for standard):

  • FinOps Insights – Gain clarity over your Azure cost management, enabling governance and control over cloud spend. Assign budgets and track them in real time.
  • FinOps Recommendations – Real-time efficiency recommendations for Azure cost management. You have full autonomy for certain optimisations while the remaining optimisations are viewable in the Cloud Management Portal.
  • Security Insights – Understand, prepare and track your Azure cloud security position. Identify strengths and weaknesses. 
  • Sustainability Insights – Get a clear view of the carbon value for your Azure resources. Define targets and track in real-time.
  • Sustainability Recommendations – Real-time efficiency recommendations are viewable in the CMP via the dashboard.

As a result, you’ll always have peace of mind that you’re up to speed with the latest and most relevant information to plan your Azure management and governance.

More about our Azure Managed Service Standard Tier

If you are on a tight budget but would like to try out Azure managed support and free up some in-house time and resources, this tier is for you. In fact, if you use Transparity for your licensing needs, you gain this standard offering for free.

  • Billing & Licensing Self-Service – Review your bills and manage licenses through Transparity’s Control Centre portal.
  • Microsoft Premier Support – Access premier support for escalations only through our service desk.
  • Unlimited Service Requests – Get unlimited requests for Azure VMs and related Azure infrastructure (does not include change-requests).
  • 24/7 Incident Support – Sleep sound knowing you have access to support around the clock. 
  • CMP Features – Available on request

Advanced Microsoft Azure Management

For a medium budget and a more proactive managed service, you may find the advanced tier right for you. With a large range of features, your in-house team won’t have to worry about the state of your Azure infrastructure.

See the standard tier for all features that rollover. Do note, that all optional features in standard are included automatically in the advanced tier. 

  • Managed Patching – Custom configuration, pre and post-patch activities and failures remediated.
  • SSL Cert Expiry – Receive notifications in advance for SSL certificates that are assigned to public-facing resources in Microsoft Azure when they are coming up for renewal.
  • Service Delivery Escalation – A member of our Service Delivery Management team can be engaged to escalate any critical issues that arise relating to incidents or the provision of our service
  • Service Review Quarterly – Discuss your service report with a Service Delivery Manager on a quarterly basis. This service report covers cost optimisations, a review of incidents, and the overall service.
  • Change Requests x5 – Have five changes a month implemented for you. High-risk changes or changes that will take longer than two hours are not included.
  • Optimisations Review Quarterly – A dedicated report that discusses Azure cost management delivered during the quarterly service review. Identifies cost optimisations, an estimate of potential savings, and the type of optimisation recommended. 

Premium Microsoft Azure Management

This tier of our cloud managed service has the highest cost but provides the most complete managed service, most notably the addition of backup and disaster recovery. 

See the standard and advanced tiers for all features that roll over. Do note, that many features are enhanced in this tier over the advanced level.

  • Proactive Service Delivery  – Your assigned Service Delivery Manager will take a proactive approach to helping you resolve issues, queries or concerns.
  • Service Review Monthly – Discuss your service report with a Service Delivery Manager on a monthly basis. This service report covers cost optimisations, a review of incidents, and the overall service.
  • Change Requests x10 – Have ten changes a month implemented for you. High-risk changes or changes that will take longer than two hours are not included.
  • Optimisations Review Monthly – A dedicated report that discusses Azure cost management and sustainability optimisations delivered during the monthly service review. It identifies cost optimisations, an estimate of potential savings, and the type of optimisation recommended. 
  • Backup Management & Validation – Help protect against data loss.  This includes backup configuration, monitoring, and remediation.
  • Disaster Recovery Management – Reduce the risk of recovery failure. This covers validating backup sets and testing ASR failover.  Five samples of backup recovery testing per month and five samples of ASR failover testing biannually included.
  • Technical Strategy – Receive technology workshops with a Transparity Azure blackbelt. Great for in-depth technical architecture reviews, preparing for a new project, or simply learning about a new service. Plus participate in Education & Advisory workshops with a consultant. 1-3 day engagement discussing the art of the possible, tailored to your goals on a range of Microsoft cloud services
