Project Overview
As Bradshaw Taylor expanded it portfolio of outdoor and lifestyle brands, the business recognised the opportunity to modernise the way its brands operated, traded and scaled.
Working with Transparity, they embarked on a transformation programme to create a consistent digital foundation across the organisation, replacing fragmented processes with a connected operating model that could support both current demands and future growth.
The Challenge
Each of Bradshaw Taylor’s acquired brands operated independently, with separate systems and processes. These legacy systems were disconnected and had evolved over time, creating inefficiencies and duplication of effort.
Significant time was spent manually consolidating data across the nine brands, while leadership lacked real-time visibility of financial performance. Online sales and order processes were also fragmented, impacting efficiency and customer experience.
As the business expanded internationally, the need for a centralised, scalable platform became critical. The organisation required a cloud-based solution that could support future growth and provide a consistent operating model across all brands.
“The IT systems of each brand were outdated and required upgrading. This was the right time to re-engineer our business so that we could deliver a centralised, best practice solution to drive growth.” — Paddy Devlin, Head of Business Technology at Bradshaw Taylor.
The Solution
Bradshaw Taylor selected Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central as a flexible, integrated ERP platform to support finance, operations and reporting across the business. Transparity implemented a fashion-focused solution built on Business Central and K3|pebblestone, providing the specialist functionality required to manage apparel variations such as size, colour and style.
A templated rollout approach was used to enable rapid deployment, with initial brands going live to a defined standard and subsequent rollouts delivered in phases. The platform was integrated with key systems including Magento for e-commerce, alongside logistics and warehouse solutions, ensuring connected processes from order capture through to fulfilment.
Transparity worked closely with Bradshaw Taylor to deliver a solution aligned to its operating model, supporting consistency across brands while maintaining the flexibility needed for international growth.
The Impact
Bradshaw Taylor now operates with a unified, cloud-based platform across its multi-brand portfolio, bringing together finance, operations and customer data into a single source of truth. This has removed the need for manual consolidation and given leadership real-time visibility of performance across brands, supporting faster and more informed decision-making. The templated rollout approach enables new brands to be onboarded quickly and consistently, accelerating time to value as the business grows internationally. At the same time, integrated e-commerce and fulfilment processes have streamlined the end-to-end customer journey, reducing service queries and improving operational efficiency. With a more connected, scalable foundation in place, Bradshaw Taylor is now better equipped to run a lean operating model and support ongoing expansion.
“The templated rollout process means we are now able to bring brands to market much faster.”
