Microsoft 365 E7: The Frontier Suite

Microsoft 365 E7 became generally available on 1st May 2026. You can purchase it now through Transparity as a CSP partner on monthly, annual, or triennial terms.

Microsoft 365 E7 is priced at $99 per user per month, or $90.45 without Teams, on an annual commit. For context, M365 E5 alone is $57 per user per month (rising to $60 on 1st July 2026), Copilot adds $30, and Entra Suite adds $12. That is $99 before Agent 365 at $15 per user per month. E7 bundles all of that into one subscription at the same price. Limited-time launch discounts of 10% and 15% are also available through Transparity until 31st December 2026.

E7 introduces a genuinely new component, Agent 365, and signals where Microsoft is taking enterprise licensing for the next decade. Beyond Agent 365, E7 adds Microsoft 365 Copilot as a core inclusion rather than a separate add-on, and upgrades the identity component from Entra ID P2 to the full Entra Suite, which adds identity governance, private network access, internet access, and verified ID. If you are on E5 and already paying for Copilot separately, E7 is broadly cost-neutral and adds significant capability on top.

Microsoft 365 E7 is available with and without Teams, reflecting the unbundling requirements that have been in effect in the EU since 2023. If your organisation licences Teams separately or prefers not to include it, the no-Teams SKU is available at a lower price point.

Not necessarily, but timing matters. Microsoft is increasing list prices across most Microsoft 365 SKUs effective 1st July 2026. If your renewal falls after that date, you will be renewing at higher per-user costs regardless of whether you change your licence tier.
