Transparity’s App in a Day Workshop will get you started on your Power Apps journey, with hands-on labs and content.

Run by our Power Platform experts, you’ll discover how to create custom business applications without writing code. We’ll also discuss how to create sophisticated business processes and leverage complex data relationships within your applications.

In this 1 day workshop you will interact with four mini workshops that introduce you to all aspects of application development within the Power Platform.

1. Canvas Apps

  • Where to start
  • Creating your first app
  • Connecting to data
  • Connecting controls and screens
  • Navigating around your app

2. Dataverse

  • Introduction to Dataverse
  • Creating your first table
  • Adding a Business Process Flow to your data
  • Creating your Model-Driven App

3. Using Dataverse in your Canvas App

  • Introduciton to connected Forms
  • Adding a data connected Form
  • Customising the Form

4. Integrating Power Automate

  • Introduction to Power Automate
  • Creating your first flow
  • Extending your flow with more logic

Information for the day

  • Lunch will be provided and refreshments throughout the day
  • You will be alongside colleagues in your industry and working with Transparity’s industry and technical experts
  • We deliver a Microsoft prescribed learning pathway to build an app. The outcome is that you will have a fair understanding of what is possible, and how to get started with your own Power Apps following the training. 
  • Who should join? Anyone looking to expand their Power Apps and Power Platform knowledge. We cater to all levels of user, no prior Power Platform knowledge is necessary.

Mike is the Principal Power Platform architect at Transparity. He has over 15 years’ experience in IT and has a deep understanding of Power Platform and how to put together creative solutions to meet business requirements.
