Apo offer a lifestyle choice for renters looking for a high-quality home and professional management service across locations in London. Membership affords residents a number of luxury benefits – such as longer-term but flexible tenancies, private gym access, members-only co-working and social spaces, and community events – as well as the ability to move between apartments or sites with ease.

Currently focused on two locations in Barking and Kew, more new developments are in the pipeline offering more choice of locations in London, across the UK and internationally.

The challenge

Splitting from their sister company led Apo to search for a tech a partner to help them establish a complete and secure IT solution from scratch. With no dedicated IT personnel, it was vital for the company to be able to place their trust in an experienced Microsoft partner.

Apo were looking to migrate their emails and documents while keeping hold of historic email data from their parent company. They were also looking at deploying and managing mobile devices for their staff, so required a Cloud-based solution that allowed for easy collaboration whilst working remotely. A well-rounded support system was also of high importance to help their remote workforce and keep things running smoothly.

After receiving a recommendation from another one of Transparity’s customers, Advantage Travel, Apo were happy in the knowledge that choosing the Microsoft 365 experts would help them achieve the results they wanted.

The solution

Transparity deployed Microsoft 365 Business Premium, offering a secure and easy-to-access environment for all of Apo’s users. Defender for Endpoint was also used to ensure high levels of security for any situation, thanks to its risk-based vulnerability management. In terms of data migration, SkyKick was deployed for email and SharePoint backup.

Finally, Transparity offered a Fully Managed Service to Apo. This provides a high-quality, end-to-end support service, ensuring the users feel fully supported in the absence of an internal IT team.

The outcome

The end result for Apo is a Cloud-native IT system that allows their staff to communicate and collaborate on files and documents from anywhere. Securing the business systems with leading Cyber security solutions allows Apo to continue growing quickly, and the Managed IT service frees up time for staff and allows them to focus on the core business and its growth.

Centralising Cloud managed users and machines has resulted in robust systems without the complexities of management and maintenance.
