SA CryptoKit is the ideal comprehensive library of COM and Java-based toolkits that provides application developers a flexible and convenient way of incorporating security features into their applications. It serves as the solid security foundation for enterprise and web applications like secure web, digital document signing, secure email and data security. It comprises of a complete set of cryptographic algorithms and secured communications protocols that can fulfill all the developers' existing and future security requirements. The pure Java implementation makes SA CryptoKit platform independent and easy to integrate with a layer of COM APIs, accessible through our state-of-the-art SecureAge® architecture. This implies that applications developed with C, C++, Visual Basic, ASP and other programming languages can be secured in no time. SA CryptoKit supports SSL (Secure Sockets Layer), TLS (Transport Layer Security), WTLS (Wireless Transport Layer Security), XML (extensible Markup Language) and S/MIME which can be incorporated into any application via an integrated Application Programmers Interface (API). These components help to fully secure the protocol level for Internet and Messaging Applications. Features 1. SA CryptoKit Prime SA CryptoKit is made up of cryptographic algorithms that are stored in easily integrated software libraries. These libraries contain one core component, SA CryptoKit Prime. It enables developers to build applications and add other features like certificate revocation checking and directory access for Digital Certificates based systems. It also helps programmers and developers to hasten the development process for PKI-enabled applications and security products. SA CrytoKit Prime, available in Java, is a comprehensive library that constitutes essential elements like ASN.1, BER/DER and Base64. These essentials are needed to interact with other PKI components, including cryptographic and X.509 Digital Certificate support, certificate request and retrieval from a Certificate Authority System, LDAP directory support, certificate CRL revocation checking and OCSP. It caters to all your security requirements, such as to enable a PKI application or add in other security features. SA CryptoKit Prime is also a reliable cryptography component with extensive data encryption and signing algorithms like RSA, DSA, Diffie-Hellman, AES, DES, Triple-DES, RC4, RC2, MD5 and SHA-1. These elements enrich the functionality of the end application, including central policy control, smartcard support, OCSP and CRL distribution point support and additional Certificate Authority transporters. SA CryptoKit Prime allows applications to seamlessly and automatically interoperate with multiple existing PKI products that support PKCS and PKIX standards. It provides all the necessary tools to enable applications to operate within a Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and to implement Digital Certificate systems with strong cryptographic algorithms including the RSA and AES. 2. SA CryptoKit Plugins Additional libraries that comprise modules for SSL, S/MIME, XML and WTLS/TLS, can be incorporated into SA CryptoKit Prime to provide further security components. Each of these components extends the core API and offers unparalleled integration of all major security requirements into one comprehensive architecture. a) SA Crypto-SSL Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), a widely-used Internet security protocol, protects online communications against eavesdropping, tampering and forgery. But implementing SSL within an application can be a time-consuming process for developers, especially with all the underlying cryptographic algorithms and certifications. SA Crypto-SSL can ease this tedious process by providing all the necessary components for delivering SSL-enabled applications. This will not only speed up the development time but also ensure more reliable security. SA Crypto-SSL supports full-strength SSL version 3 and TLS version 1 protocols. Since it runs in Java, it can be incorporated into multiple platforms. Therefore, developers can easily add full-strength encryption, integrity and authentication to all online communications. Developers can use the SSL components in SA Crypto-SSL to deploy Web based access systems, secure Internet Banking, internal corporate data security, online shopping or online brokerage services. Built on top of SA CryptoKit Prime, SA Crypto-SSL's components will allow access to all of the cryptographic functionality and features. b) SA Crypto-S/MIME Standard email applications over the Internet are inherently insecure and highly susceptible to possible interception and intrusion. Software developers who are delivering client and server email applications can use SA Crypto-S/MIME to secure email applications. It can speed up application development and ensure interoperability with other standards-compliant S/MIME-based products. Document security application based on S/MIME can also be developed with it. SA Crypto-S/MIME supports the de facto IETF (Internet Engineering Task Force) S/MIME standard for Internet email security. It is an advance cryptographic tool that offers a platform independent standard that can fulfill various security requirements. This allows software developers who are not well versed in cryptographic systems or S/MIME protocols, to develop and add security features to email, document and data in general. SA Crypto-S/MIME integrates security features such as digital signatures, encryption, message hashing and random number generation with SA CryptoKit Prime libraries transparently. c) SA Crypto-Wireless Please see our MCom P3 product description for more information. d) SA Crypto-XML eXtensible Markup Language (XML) is the language used for e-business document exchange. SA Crypto-XML, available in Java, provides full PKI integration and enables easy integration with new and legacy applications. It secures e-business XML systems by allowing developers to digitally sign and verify XML document according to the latest IETF and W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) standards. This enables complete Confidentiality, Integrity, Authentication and Non-repudiation with irrefutable digital signatures. |
